We love a new project at Umbrella Cymru, and that usually means we are looking for new people to work with us.
We also have volunteering opportunities from time to time, so check out our current vacancies and apply to join our team.

Whether you’re looking for support for you or someone else, you can request support through our website using our quick form.
For example, we could offer support to…
an 8-year-old trans boy with their social transition…
professionals in Aberystwyth with LGBT bullying and hate crime…
parents in Cardiff with navigating youth gender services…
a questioning teenager with building confidence…
a 77-year-old lesbian with coming out…
an asexual non-binary person with ID changes…
a partner of a bisexual man with building healthier relationships...
We know there are lots of things to think about when you transition. So much, that sometimes we all need a guide through it… so we’ve tried to create one.
Here you’ll find lots of links to information, resources, groups, websites, checklists, ideas, options…. and a load more. We’ll keep adding to it as we go, but if there’s anything missing, or you spot something that’s out of date or incorrect, please let us know and we’ll get working on adding / correcting / improving the information to make it the best it can be for everyone who uses it.

We provide an instant deed poll service. Yes, instant.
If you’re looking for a document to evidence your name change, you can complete our very short form and get your deed poll sent directly to your inbox in seconds.
We offer FREE and paid services… just pick the one you want.

Umbrella Cymru is a gender and sexual diversity support service. We offer support and services to people of any age, anywhere in Wales. Our aim is to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ people in Wales through tailored individual or family support.
We have a lot of information about our services on our main website. You can also request support, find contact details, use our deed poll service and more through our site.

We work alongside Cardiff and Vale University Health Board to provide support to trans and non-binary adults in Wales who have had their initial appointment with the Welsh Gender Service.
If you’re looking for wait time information or updates about the Welsh Gender Service, you should take a look at our other website, gender.wales

We’ve brought together lots of information into a searchable info portal. There are plenty of categories to browse through, or type something in the search box to find what you’re looking for.
We review, update and add information to the portal regularly, but if you’re looking for something you can’t find, contact us and we’d be very happy to help.
